data privacy
The protection of your personal data is important to us
Below we would like to inform you that we request personal data from you and store this data electronically. Your customer data will be stored and processed by us in compliance with the relevant provisions of the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) implemented by the German Datenschutz-Grundverordnung (DSGVO).
1. Collection and Processing of Data
Every access to our shop and each retrieval of a file stored on the homepage or in the online shop is logged. This storage is used for internal system-related and statistical purposes. The following data is logged: browser type/version, operating system used, referrer URL (the previously visited page), hostname of the accessing computer (IP address); time of the server request. Additional personal data is only collected if you provide this information voluntarily, for example during an order or registration.

2. Use and Disclosure of Personal Data
Your personal data is stored within the company and used to respond to your inquiries, manage your customer account, process contracts concluded with you, and related processes.
Furthermore, your data will be used, if you have purchased products or used services, to advertise similar products or services, and — if you have subscribed to the newsletter — for our own promotional purposes. You can object to this use at any time without incurring costs other than the transmission costs according to the base rates.
Your personal data will only be passed on to third parties or otherwise transmitted if this is necessary for the purpose of contract processing — especially forwarding order data to suppliers or payment service providers selected by you — if this is required for billing purposes or if you have given your express consent beforehand. In these cases, the scope of the transmitted data is limited to the necessary minimum. You may revoke your consent to the forwarding of your data at any time with effect for the future.
Disclosure to non-contractual third parties (e.g. authorities) only occurs if there is a legal obligation to do so. Otherwise, we will not share your personal data with third parties for commercial or non-commercial purposes unless stated otherwise below.
3. Website Usage Analysis
Google Analytics
This website uses Google Analytics, a web analytics service provided by Google Inc. (“Google”). Google Analytics uses so-called “cookies”, which are text files placed on your computer to help the website analyze how users use the site. The information generated by the cookie about your use of this website is usually transmitted to a Google server in the USA and stored there. If IP anonymization is activated on this website, your IP address will be shortened beforehand by Google within member states of the European Union or other parties to the Agreement on the European Economic Area. Only in exceptional cases is the full IP address transmitted to a Google server in the USA and shortened there. On behalf of the operator of this website, Google will use this information to evaluate your use of the website, compile reports on website activity, and provide other services related to website and internet usage to the website operator. The IP address transmitted by your browser in the context of Google Analytics will not be merged with other data from Google. You can prevent the storage of cookies by adjusting your browser software settings; however, please note that in this case, you may not be able to use all the functions of this website fully. You can also prevent the collection of the data generated by the cookie and related to your use of the website (including your IP address) and the processing of this data by Google by downloading and installing the browser plugin available at the following link: (http://tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout?hl=de).
Please note that on this website, the Google Analytics code has been extended with the code "gat._anonymizeIp();" to ensure anonymized collection of IP addresses (so-called IP masking).
4. Cookies
This website uses so-called cookies in several places. Cookies do not damage your computer and do not contain viruses. They are used to make our service more user-friendly, effective, and secure. Cookies are small text files that are stored on your computer and saved by your browser. Some of the cookies we use are deleted after you close your browser (so-called session cookies). Other cookies remain on your device (persistent cookies). These cookies allow us to recognize your browser the next time you visit.
You can set your browser to inform you about the setting of cookies and to allow cookies only in individual cases, to exclude the acceptance of cookies for specific cases or in general, and to activate the automatic deletion of cookies when closing the browser. If cookies are deactivated, the functionality of this website may be limited.
5. Right to Information and Deletion
You have the right at any time to free information about your stored personal data, its origin and recipients, and the purpose of the data processing, as well as a right to correction, blocking, or deletion of this data. Please send your request by post, email, or fax. Stored personal data will be deleted if you revoke your consent to storage, if the knowledge of such data is no longer necessary for the purpose for which it was stored, or if the storage is otherwise legally inadmissible.
6. Use of Social Plugins
For data protection reasons, we do not integrate social plugins directly into our website, thus preventing third-party profiling. However, to enable sharing our offers via Facebook, Twitter, or Google+, we use the so-called Shariff solution developed by the c’t magazine.
