That’s why Schlicker’s Toughcon TT (plastic) and TM (metal) series are designed with adaptability in mind. A wide range of accessories — including end housings with strain relief, Pg and M threads, angled adapters, shrink-sleeve connections, and a dedicated adapter for the renowned Pflitsch UNI Dicht cable gland system — allows for seamless customization to suit virtually any application.

Compatible with Pflitsch UNI Dicht
An back sshell with integrated Pflitsch cable gland and application-specific sealing inserts for different cable diameters is available to ensure a secure cable outlet at the plug or socket. Sealing, strain relief, bending protection and connection to protective conduits and corrugated conduits are thus easily possible. The cable gland is based on the well-known Pflitsch UNI Dicht modular system. Customised cable entry solutions can be created with application-specific sealing inserts and pressure screws.
Crimp contacts

Schlicker offers a comprehensive range of contacts to meet every application need: from standard tin-plated crimp and pre-conductor contacts to gold-plated, low-resistance precision contacts. Our precision-stamped standard contacts, made from a specialized copper alloy, are compatible with all standard housings in the Toughcon® system. They combine excellent electrical performance with cost-efficiency and are available in various coatings and packaging formats.
Our turned precision contacts handle up to 13 A continuous load — and significantly more under peak conditions — with a compact outer diameter of just 3.6 mm. All contact types are available for conductor cross-sections ranging from 0.05 mm² to 4 mm², offering maximum flexibility.

With a 90° angle adapter, Toughcon wall sockets can be precisely aligned to the mounting surface, offering space-saving installation and optimal cable routing. For environments exposed to dust or moisture, the protective cap is a must-have — shielding open sockets or disconnected plugs from external influences.
A variety of sealing options are available for both the TT series (plastic) and TM series (metal), including plug area seals, end housing seals, and flange seals — ideal for retrofitting or as spare parts. Additional coding can be easily implemented by inserting coding pins into unused contact chambers, enhancing connection safety and preventing mismating.
Coding by rotation or coding pins
Precision meets safety — advanced coding options with the Toughcon TM series.
The Toughcon TM series (metal) offers a unique advantage: the ability to rotate the contact carrier within the housing, allowing for flexible alignment during installation. Only connectors with matching coding can be mated and securely locked, ensuring reliable and error-free connections.
For added safety and customization, additional coding can be implemented by inserting coding pins into unused contact chambers. This prevents electrical contact at those positions on the mating connector — a simple yet effective way to enhance connection integrity.
Pre-assembled cable/connector units
Overmoulded cables, equipped on one or both ends, plug-plug or cable plug-cable plug, extension cables, 1m, 3m, 5m ... We offer over 600 variants of pre-assembled solutions. The cable can be assembled with a plug or socket on one end, with a straight-cut open end or with a plug and/or socket on both ends. This enables the user to make considerable cost savings: The end housing is not required and assembly is already complete. The shape of the overmoulding can also be customised. For example, angled connectors or overmoulding with an integrated EMC cage can be realised.
